US-based insurer King Risk Partners has further solidified its national presence through the acquisition of Barker, Beck, Collins & Kronauge Agency (BBC&K), an independent insurance company based in Dayton, Ohio. While the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, the acquisition strengthens King Risk Partners’ foothold in the Midwest region.
Founded in 1923, BBC&K has established a strong presence in the Miami Valley area of Ohio. Over the years, the company has broadened its expertise across various insurance sectors, including auto, home, and business insurance, and has developed specialized departments for group health and long-term care insurance.
Malcolm King, CEO of King Risk Partners, emphasized the strategic alignment of the acquisition, stating, “Their commitment to building strong client relationships and their decades of expertise perfectly align with our vision of partnering with established, reputable agencies. This acquisition not only expands our footprint into Ohio but also reinforces our ability to provide top-tier service in the Midwest.”
The acquisition marks a significant milestone in King Risk Partners’ ongoing growth strategy, which involves forging partnerships with respected agencies. It follows the company’s acquisition of Pigg Insurance in Tennessee, demonstrating its continued expansion across the United States. Agency partners Daniel Kronauge, Scott Barker, and Bob Collins expressed enthusiasm about the merger, with Kronauge noting, “Joining forces with King Risk Partners is a tremendous opportunity for our agency and our clients. Our priority has always been exceptional customer service, and this partnership enables us to expand our personal and business insurance offerings while maintaining the high standards of care and satisfaction our clients have come to expect.”
King Risk Partners offers a wide range of services, including business, home, auto, and life insurance, and this latest acquisition further strengthens its capabilities in providing comprehensive insurance solutions to clients across the Midwest.
